Chozen Plastindo has launched Ecozen, its brand of food-grade rPET pellets and flakes.

Ecozen pellets are produced on EREMA Vacunite technology with solid-state polycondensation (SSP) from Polymetrix, for packaging that needs direct food contact. Every batch is tested in-house for intrinsic viscosity, acetaldehyde, color and contaminants, and shipped with a Certificate of Analysis.

The launch builds on more than two decades of PET recycling in East Java, from collecting bottles across Indonesia to producing material for brands in Asia, Europe and North America. Ecozen holds an FDA Letter of No Objection, and an EFSA opinion is expected in Q1 2027.
